Meet the EMCDDA at Lisbon Addictions 2017
Introduction
For more than 20 years, the EU drugs agency (EMCDDA) has demonstrated its ability to act as a catalyst for data collection and strategic analysis in a policy area that cuts across crime, health and security issues, both in Europe and worldwide.
Our work is gaining new impetus through the EMCDDA Strategy 2025, which sets out clear goals and an ambitious course of travel for the next decade. Our vision is to contribute to a healthier and more secure Europe, through better informed drug policy and action. We have built this vision on an analysis of the lessons we have learned, the changing drugs phenomenon, and institutional and international developments. With its customer focus and service orientation, this strategy will help us produce information that makes a difference.
