This training taking place in Riga is organised by the EMCDDA and the Latvian national focal point.

Objective: 

  • Providing basic methods and tools to the Latvian focal points and drug-related infectious diseases (DRID) experts for the analysis of cohort studies among drug users. This includes drafting a plan of analysis to compute indicators of disease occurrence among drug users (prevalence and incidence rates) and to identify risk factors, using a real dataset and the software R.
