To mark World AIDS Day on 1 December, the EMCDDA is launching its first harm reduction overviews covering 30 countries. Each overview is divided into five parts describing: the national context of harm reduction, references and resources, and key responses for preventing and reducing drug-related infectious diseases, drug-related deaths and drug-related harms in recreational settings. Complementing the European quantitative dataset on health and social responses published regularly since 2007 in the Statistical Bulletin
