Infographic: The three broad stages of developing responses to drug problems
Description
Thee process of responding to drug problems can be divided into three broad stages: the identification of the particular drug problems to be addressed; the selection of the response or interventions that are to be put in place; and the implementation of the interventions, in which monitoring and impact evaluation should be an integral part.
Visual description: The diagram is composed of three circles each representing a stage of the action framework. The circles are placed in a triangular shape connected by three arrows depicting a cyclical process: from Problem definition at the top, to response selection at the bottom right, to implementation at the bottom left, and back to problem definition at the top. At the side of each arrow the outcome of the previous stage circle is listed. A larger ring circles the overall triangular shape, including arrows and outcomes. On the bottom of the ring, below and between Implementation and Response selection there is a label for Knowledge base. On the top of the ring, above Problem definition, a label reads Contextual factors and influences.
